He Holds Me + The Holiday Season

My hands and heart have been so full this past week. I started the week with not feeling well then my little girl got sick. At times it has felt like one of those “can’t catch a break” moments. Yet at the same time, I was able to stay home and care for her which made my heart so full. Sure I was up to my elbows in cleaning messes, washing laundry, and scrubbing my house..BUT I was with her and that’s what mattered. ❤ I loved all the extra cuddles and we are thankful she’s on the mend!

Through it all, I was reminded that God holds us in His arms at all times. He cares for and loves us despite our mess ups or problems. Despite our shortcomings. Despite our flesh. He is there to pick us up and put us back together. He will restore us and His purpose will be fulfilled. His love for us is unconditional. He is truly the best Father! When it seems you’re stuck in the valley, hold on to His hand and trust His plan.

Isaiah 55:10-13

“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven, And do not return there without watering the earth And making it bear and sprout, And furnishing seed to the sower and bread to the eater; So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth; It will not return to Me empty, Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it. “For you will go out with joy And be led forth with peace; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of joy before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands.

During this Holiday season, I urge us all to look around and find joy in the little things. Look for ways to bless others. To be His hands and feet. Make memories and love those around us unconditionally.

I pray you all have a blessed week before Christmas!

I plan to do a little baking, some last minute shopping, and making lots memories with those I love. What better way to spend the Holiday season?!

Love to you all!
