be still

God will provide. He will bring you through. No matter what you are facing, He is there. It doesn’t matter how strong the storm is or how high the waves may be, He is there and He will carry you through.

We may wonder at times why something is happening. Why now. Why here. But God does have a plan. He knows why and all we need to do is be still. BE STILL…it’s hard to do. It’s hard to let go. We want to fix everything. We want to step in and help God do His job, but He doesn’t need our help! He needs us to sit back and give Him control.

Psalm 46:10 He says, Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.

I want Him to be exalted in my life. In my situations. I want others to see Him working. I want them to see His power. I want others to notice God living in me and working in my life. Do you want the same? Do you want his Grace to cover you? All you have to do is give Him control. Walk in His ways. And then He takes care of the rest! It may not happen right when you want it to. It may take time. But we know that all things work together. ALL THINGS…and the word of God does not lie. Everything will work out for you!

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. 

No matter what you are facing, let God’s light shine through you. Be a witness to others. Let His love flow through you. He wants to use your situation to help others and He also wants to use it to help you…He wants you to grow…He wants you to become a stronger person, a stronger Christian. His ways are not always easy for us to understand but if we trust Him, He will bring us through.

Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. 

Take comfort today knowing that God is with you. He loves and cares for you. He will carry you through and all you have to do is trust Him.
