a little about me + things I love

I thought I would share a few things about me today! As a wife and mum, I rarely take time for me or to even think about what I like! So this was a nice little break to really think about the things I wanted to share with you!

To start, I am super busy, ALL the time! Who isn’t, right?! My wife and mum duties come first and include grocery shopping (thank you Jesus for online ordering), cooking, cleaning, laundry..you get it..and I wouldn’t trade it for the world! On top of that I work a full time job, I started this blog, I teach a ladies Bible Study, and I’m on our women’s ministry team at Church! On top of that I have a huge surprise coming in a few months and I can’t wait to share it with you! My parents raised me to work hard and never give up! Those are the things I still strive to do.

Spending time with my friends is rare but when we get together it’s always the best time! That’s one thing I plan to do more of this year, spend time with friends and family and make memories! Who’s with me?

I LOVE coffee! My hubby introduced me to Starbucks when we first started dating and I never looked back! We just received the Ninja Coffee Bar for Christmas and it is simply amazing! We can make our own specialty drinks (my favorite is a caramel macchiato)! We can make espresso, iced coffee, and the strongest pot of coffee you’ve had in someone’s home! Coffee for us is a bond and I love our late night talks over a good cup of java!

I love fashion and I LOVE a good deal! I enjoy style and I’m never too worried about trends or fads! I have a simple and classic look (or so I’ve been told)! You’ll usually find me in neutral colors with a pop of color here and there! Normally I stick to blacks, tans, and grays! I try to venture out and wear color here and there and when I do it’s usually subtle and never bright! Bright is just too much for me but I applaud those who can pull it off! Fall is my favorite time of year because I get to break out my boots, sweaters, and all things comfy! As spring starts to approach, I panic and have to accept that boots just won’t work for the next 6 months!
